During the time we bought the EOS 450D, the seller recommended us to get the Canon EF 50mm F1.8 mk II lens also. It is a prime lens and can be called as portrait lens too.

We got it pretty cheap as we bought together with the EOS 450D. The lens is light, if not mistaken it is the lightest lens and cheapest lens in whole Canon EF and EF-S lens series. Though it is the cheapest, the image quality is not the lousiest. Some reviewers claimed that the image quality at F 2.8 almost as sharp as some L lens series. So in this case, price can’t be a measurement.

It is the lens that almost every Canon dSLR users will get, it is pretty useful. It is not only used for people photography, but also for products, flowers, and lots more where you desire to blur the background.

I love the F 1.8, where I can have the incredible fast shutter speed. With this lens, I will try to shoot more and show with you all, and your job is to comment on it. 
