Entering old markets with new and exciting products is a seemingly glorious task… Man, you think you can go out there and razzle and dazzle the old players with new technology; that they are going to “froth at the mouth” and want to push their competitors aside; cut purchase orders, licensing deals, and all kinds of exciting co-marketing events with booth babes…
RING, RING, RING, RING…and then I woke up!
Starting a business is an exciting, grueling, pleasant, energizing, challenging, draining, beneficial, and memorable experience - Right!? Of course it is; but you need to be willing to accept the good with the bad, be flexible, be willing and able to aggressively attack and gracefully retreat.
It is really an ART - Picasso, Rembrandt and Michaelangelo were astonishingly creative and brilliant.
