It is 6 am now already and my eyes are still opened widely. I am now online surfing for the stuff to read.
While surfing, I dropped into this blog by author, Daniel Neumeister.
This blog was given the title Daniel Manuester BLog. The content of the blog is mainly about his life as a healthcare and hospital executive.

I was reading his post “Long waits in E.R.” now. This dated 17th of August 2008, was about an article he, Daniel, read some where.

It was about the long waits in your local Emergency room were caused by the hospital administration because hospitals have financial incentives to keep their ER patients waiting. The author of the article comments were based on the premise that patients that come through the ER are poor, and that the beds in the hospital were being kept available for paying patients.

There are many problems in their healthcare delivery system, yet I never knew and do not believe that hospitals board patients in the ER due to financial reasons.
