China, the world’s third biggest country is now organizing one of the world’s biggest sports event, Olympic. China has one of the world’s oldest people and continuous civilizations, consisting of states and cultures dating back more than six millennia.
Besides, China has the record of world’s longest continuously used written language system, and their people has invented 4 of the world’s most important inventions as what the British scholar and biochemist Joseph Needham called the “four great inventions of Ancient China”:
paper, the compass, gunpowder, and printing.
China is where all our great-great-grand parents came from. Today, China is about to organize the Bei Jing Olympic, and has make all the Chinese proud of their homeland. Lets wait for the important day to come!
