Finally, we had finished our approximate 3 hours class today. Today, we went to see 2 hernia patients. One is incisional hernia and another one is umbilical hernia. Umbilical hernia patient is a very old lady. Guess how old is she? Well, she is 82 years old! Hmm….

Her umbilical hernia going to be treated by surgery named herniatomy and herniorrhaphy.
Other than that, we also visited patient with suspected intestinal obstruction. This patient is a student taking business course. He had appendectomy before, thus we all suspected that the intestinal obstruction is complication of after-appendectomy. After we had finish taking all the necessary information from the patient, we all started to chat other topic with him. He is a very friendly patient.
